5% Day a Success for CRF!
Whole Foods Market invited CRF staff in mid-July to their South Beach, Miami location for an awards ceremony from the 5% Day in late June, which was held to support CRF's reef restoration and conservation initiatives in the Florida Keys.
Marketing and Community Relations Specialist, Macarena Luzvianchi, of Whole Food Market - Miami Beach, and Coral Restoration Foundation's President, Ken Nedimyer, Marine Conservation Director, Katie Grablow, and Operations and Development Manager, Andy Northrop, all joined together at the South Beach location for a morning award ceremony in mid-July. CRF was awarded nearly $3500 dollars and breakfast from Whole Foods Market's 5% Day on June 23rd, 2010.
In addition to CRF's full time staff and Whole Food's Market making this event a success, Denise and Julia Nedimyer along with Matt Hetman came out to the 5% Day in June to help spread the CRF message by helping bag groceries and engaging shoppers.
A big thanks to everyone at Whole Foods Market and CRF!
