The DVRC is dedicated to local reefkeeping enthusiasts. We are a non-profit educational society dedicated to the conservation of our ocean reefs. Through an open exchange of ideas and information we are able to expand our knowledge and ability to care for the inhabitants of our aquarium systems. By encouraging propagation we help to reduce the demand for wild caught specimens and do our part to encourage conservation and preservation of our natural reefs. The DVRC sponsors monthly meetings and we are actively looking for advanced aquarists and marine biologists to join us to help further our knowledge and improve our experiences in keeping our little slice of the ocean.

We are a group of Reef and Marine Aquarium hobbyists located in New York’s Hudson Valley. The club was formed for the purpose of sharing experiences, information, and ideas so that we may assist one another in providing for the proper husbandry of aquarium reef environments. We hope to promote the marine aquarium hobby and the conservation of the world's coral reefs through education, example, aquaculture and the ethical treatment of marine wildlife.
