Science Program Manager
Alex was introduced to the Florida Keys through a high school marine biology course held in Long Key over 15 years ago. He joined CRF™ as an intern not long after graduating from Indiana University in 2015 with a degree in Biology and a certificate in Underwater Resource Management. Since his internship, Alex has held several roles within the organization and is most notably responsible for the creation and implementation of CRF’s photomosaic monitoring program, which has redefined the ways we think about coral restoration success.
Today, Alex leads a revamped Science Program seeking to produce science- and technology-based solutions for CRF™ and the coral restoration community, establishing CRF™ as a global leader and subject matter expert in coral restoration tools that make the field more effective, efficient, and collaborative.
