At Coral Restoration Foundation, we are giving young people the tools they need to learn how to thrive in the world we are handing them.
We have built a practical, future-focused path of engagement with science and ecosystem restoration. Our STEAM-based learning resources unite the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics with the arts, and introduce learners of all levels to complex problem solving, science, and interdisciplinary studies.
Free Activity Packs
Our publicly available lesson plans, derived from our workshops, follow Florida state standards and can be integrated into any classroom from grades K through 12.
Edutainment Workshops
Our 6 hands-on, STEAM-focused “Learning Labs” follow state standards, enrich the curriculum, and are a blast for all students from grades K through 12. We can deliver these workshops in person and remotely.
Presentations
We offer tailored presentations for diverse classes and groups. We hold in-person sessions in schools and we beam our young educators to classrooms around the world.
Immersive Field Trips
During our immersive field trips in Florida, students of all ages witness coral restoration in action. After a pre-trip presentation at our Exploration Center, weather permitting, we head out for an interactive tour of two sites – the worlds largest coral nursery and a reef restoration site – led by our expert educators.

CRF Internships provide university-level students with vocational training and experience. Our interns go on to launch exciting careers in marine science and related fields.

Through outreach activities at CRF we engage diverse audiences, from local communities to global stakeholders, in the urgent need for coral reef conservation and restoration.
Outreach activities at CRF are vital. We’re out there all year round, setting up booths at community events like farmers markets and boat shows, engaging with other organizations, local hotels, and businesses including Fortune 500 companies! In an ever-evolving landscape, this kind of strategic outreach remains integral to driving meaningful change.

Demonstrating the power of edutainment at its best, the Captain Coral Show is a swashbuckling performance and an explosive journey into marine science. A hit with audiences of all ages.
