Chelsea is a passionate marine conservationist and experienced journalist, bringing her expertise to the role of Digital Marketing Coordinator at Coral Restoration Foundation™. Hailing from the Philippines, Chelsea developed a love for the ocean through snorkeling and witnessing the impact of environmental challenges on marine ecosystems. With a B.A. in Journalism and a background in various marine conservation roles, Chelsea creates compelling digital content that educates and engages the coral-saving community.
Chelsea has over 26 years of diving experience and is a certified PADI Dive Master. She has worked as a Coral Restoration Technician, Aquarist, Conservation Project Manager and created communications for several publications and nonprofits. Chelsea has a soft spot for elasmobranchs, such as whale sharks and manta rays. In her free time, she enjoys sailing, snorkeling, baking exotic pastries and creating marine-themed art through tattoos and watercolor paintings.
