Reef Restoration Coordinator
Michelle Dobler earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of South Florida, where her passion for marine conservation first inspired her move to the Florida Keys. After her first dive in the Keys in 2017, she was both awed by the beauty of the reef and heartbroken by its decline. That same year, she volunteered with Coral Restoration Foundation™, an experience that deeply shaped her career path in coral research and restoration.
With over nine years of experience in coral conservation, Michelle has developed a specialty in coral disease intervention, restoration, ecology, and related field-based research. She is grateful to have come full circle, bringing the knowledge and skills she’s gained back to the organization that first inspired her.
In her free time, Michelle performs with her local community theater and runs Namaste Underwater LLC, an eco-conscious yoga business that blends her love for the ocean, mindfulness, and environmental stewardship.
