Born and raised in South Florida, Allison draws on her lifelong love for the ocean to inspire a healthier relationship between humans and our blue planet.

A marine biologist and science communicator, she has more than a decade of experience in ocean science, conservation, and communications. Allison has documented research expeditions from Antarctica to the Gulf of Mexico and worked with organizations including Scripps, NOAA, and PADI.

Also known as 'Ocean Allison', she is a writer, podcaster, surfer, diver, and sailor. She now lives in San Diego with her husband and ocean-loving daughter.
