Chief Growth & Partnerships Officer
David brings diverse experience building partnerships and leading programs across the social impact sector, with work spanning global health, food security, climate resilience, and marine ecosystems in 13 countries across Latin America, Africa, and Asia. He has worked with governments, multilateral institutions, foundations, nonprofits, and corporate partners to design programs, mobilize resources, and turn ambitious ideas into action. He holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Global Development. His interest in coastal restoration began doing program development of marine protected areas in Latin America and the Caribbean, where he saw firsthand the importance of healthy reefs to communities and ecosystems. That experience sparked a lasting interest in the role that innovative partnerships and investment can play in advancing coastal resilience at scale.
At Coral Restoration Foundation, David focuses on expanding strategic partnerships and mobilizing new resources and partnerships to accelerate reef restoration efforts around the world. Outside of work, he enjoys surfing, freediving, and spending time in the ocean, experiences that continue to deepen his appreciation for coral reefs and the communities that depend on them.
